Description

The design of Porto Háje Centre reflects the investor's intention to develop a functioning and natural centre for Nové Háje in Prague 11 with the tallest building in the Czech Republic. Helika, a.s. has been involved in this project providing a range of different services, from developing the design concept to the preparation of documentation for the building permit submission.

In the area close to the east vestibule of Háje Metro station the existing shops and the part of car parking building along Opatovická Street will be replaced with an urban structure which will be spanning over Opatovická Street and consisting of three buildings – the dominant 31-storey office building (130.8 m high, 143.6 m with the antenna) intersecting the transverse 16-storey administration building; the commercial centre on three levels providing the base of the intersecting administration buildings; the eight-storey administration building continuing the high-rise buildings in Kosmická Street.

The Porto Háje project provides a complex urban and architectural design for the area close to the east vestibule of Háje Metro station. The aim of the project is to redefine Nové Háje as the centre of the South City area and to introduce a new urban quality into the area with residential buildings – i.e. an urban multi-function centre providing a balanced mix of functions including shopping, administration, services, housing, entertainment, restaurants and cafes.
